Job Description

Role Purposes: To manage the implementation of EMARAT’s recruitment strategy based on the organization’s approved workforce requirement plans including oversight of recruitment programs to ensure that EMARAT is able to attract and recruit people to reach their maximum potential.

Key Accountabilities

  • Assists in the design of recruitment programs and processes and serves as an industry expert on talent acquisition
  • Acts as primary point of contact for recruitment/acquisition matters to line managers across Emarat and provides professional support and advice
  • Works with employees on all levels of the organization to ensure delivery of the best talent with the right combinations of skills, experience and cultural “fit" that will drive organizational impact
  • Ensures staff utilizes consistent and sustainable practices to provide state-of-the-art recruiting expertise to deliver the right high potential, globally diverse talent
  • Oversees the identification of talent pools; guides the Recruitment Assistant on the most appropriate source in order to fill positions at the earliest time and with the least cost
  • Introduces improvements to the hiring process and employment contracts when necessary
  • Screens application forms and shortlists applicants for Senior Levels
  • Ensures files on new employees are maintained and kept up-to-date with relevant documentation.
  • Arranges formal meetings, lectures, videos, printed materials, and/or computer-based orientations to introduce newcomers to their new role at Emarat.
  • Discusses the formal offer to be made, maintaining ongoing liaison with the candidate through all mobilization matters, including visas, medical check ups, carrying out reference checks, etc.
  • Gathers feedback via interviews and/or surveys in order to help evaluate the efficiency of the on-boarding process and submits feedback for further action.
  • Introduces improvements to the hiring process and employment contracts when necessary
  • Attends job fairs to ensure the best selection of talent.

Knowledge:

  • Good knowledge of recruitment process, ATS, social media, and recruitment strategies
  • General knowledge of people assessment including structured / behavioral interviewing and facilitation techniques.
  • Working knowledge of psychometric testing tools and assessment design.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or an equivalent.

Experience

A minimum of 4 years’ experience in recruitment function within HR.

Competencies

  • Excellent communication skills and MUST be Bilingual fluent in Arabic and English.
  • Strong analytical skill
  • Time management skill
